The Stratford Marching Knights will be traveling to SC State University this Saturday, November 7 to compete in the 5A State Marching Band Championships. The band will be performing their show entitled “The Bohemian Way”, featuring music composed by Karl Jenkins. As the show commences, the band will reveal to the audience the exploits of a fortune teller, performed by Victoria Grey. With each musical selection, a different fortune is portrayed. The band’s last piece of the show is entitled, “Adiemus”; which literally means “we draw near”.

The Marching Knights invite you to join them as they take the field this Saturday at twelve thirty to conclude their 2009 marching season.

As this aspect of the band program draws to an end, preparations for the 2009 Holiday Concert are already in motion. Updates for holiday performances will be available as we get closer to the holiday season.
