A little highlight film from my son who played smallfry footbal with the Ladson Longhorns this season at the Berkeley Youth Football Confrence. They finished undefeated 12- 0 after winning the championship game and made all of the parents very proud.

Congratulations Charleston! We are in great company with New York, Chicago, San Francisco, our neighbor, Savannah, and others, but Charleston tops the list as the top city to visit! We are so blessed to be in such a beautiful city, and are reminded everyday by all or our fabulous visitors! Congrats as well to some of our friends who made the top hotels and resorts list as well. The Sanctuary on Kiawah Island is #3 in the United States and #37 IN THE WORLD! They are in great company with Wild Dunes Resort, The French Quarter Inn, Charleston Place, The Planters Inn, Market Pavilion, Wentworth Mansion, and John Rutledge House also making the list.
Charleston continually receives accolades and awards in a variety of categories. A few examples; the BEST new restaurant in 2011 (HUSK on Queen Street), having the MOST attractive people, being the MOST polite city and most recently our King Street shopping district was ranked up there with Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills and 5th Avenue in New York City. You can find wonderful articles about Charleston and its people and places in Southern Living, Travel & Leisure, and Architectural Digest to name a few.Is it any wonder people who visit Charleston can’t wait to return and many even desire and make plans to live here someday?
If Charleston hasn’t been on your vacation itinerary, it’s time to check us out and see what makes this city so special! Click here to begin planning your stay in the Charleston area.
